Ljubljana

Another country, another city. I don't really have much to say about Ljubljana. It was the last city on my trek through the Balkans. It's charming, pink, and it has a prominent canal traveling through it. All of which is very cool.

To be honest, I was getting pretty exhausted at this point in my trip, so we didn't end up doing a lot in the city. We slept in late, ate at cafes and nice restaurants, and visited a museum or three. But I saved up most of my energy for the day trips we took to other parts of Slovenia - which you'll be able to read about soon enough.

So, fitting with how lazy and exhausted I was at this point in the trip, this post is basically just going to be a photo dump. Lucky you. Less of my tortured prose and more pictures. Yay.

We spent a week in Slovenia - and stayed most of that time in Ljubljana - yet I only ended up with about 40 photos of the city itself. Go figure.

...because sometimes you just need a giant soccer ball.

When was the last time you saw Slovenian street art?

Ljubljana.

  1. It looks like a very nice place, and it does seem kind of pink. A giant soccer ball hmm interesting. Is the last picture of the stair railing?
